Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show preview: Radio communications stand up to the test

There will be the Lambda 62 RF module, a cost-effective 868/915Mhz LoRa transceiver, featuring the Semtech SX1262 LoRa device, for a range of over 20km.

The Lambda 80 will also be available to view.

This long range LoRa RF module operates at 2.4GHz, and is believed to be the only world‑wide licence-exempt fband.

It features the Semtech SX1280 LoRa spread spectrum.

Consulation and testing services for compliance to the radio frequency, EMC and safety requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive are offered by RN Electronics (K85).

It has been developing advanced testing capabilities to support compliance and certification of the latest products.

It is also an independent UKAS‑accredited EMC test laboratory and tests electronic products for multimedia, medical, defence (DEF STAN 59-411 & MIL STD-461) and automotive (UNECE Regulation 10).

It provides accredited EMC and wireless testing for the US and Canadian markets and is an FCC Conformity Assessment Body for the US and listed by ISED for Canada and accredited for testing for Australia and New Zealand.
